A Church Undivided

Seeing Sectarianism in the Church?

Jesus forbade Sectarianism in the gospels; Paul refers to it as SIN in 1 Corinthians chapter 1. “Let there be no divisions among us.”

Examples and Dangers of Sectarianism in the Church:

Sectarianism in the Church 2020 – BLM

Sectarianism in the Church 2021 – Pro-vaxxer vs Anti-vaxxer

The Church of Jesus Christ mustn’t participate in such secular nonsense – be led with your health. Where your faith is and being led by the Holy Spirit is the best an individual can do. Division amongst the church is an open door to let your love grow cold and causes faith to be shipwrecked. This ultimately leads to confusion and bitterness – that’s not who the Church is! The scripture say’s that FAITH works by LOVE. (Galatians 5:6).

The Church is commissioned by Jesus to do the works of Christ, to seek and to share HIM to the lost with the Power of the Holy Spirit that they may be saved. We must be full of the Spirit and Truth to be most effective. Division amongst the church defeats our unity in which Jesus prayed we would have so the world would believe on Him.

Back to Love:

The reason Jesus said, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” (John 13:34-35 NKJV‬‬).

Jesus said this because FAITH worketh by LOVE! (Galatians 5:6). And so….

Without Faith there’s No Power / No Anointing:

*To preach the gospel to the poor

*To heal the brokenhearted

*To proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind

*To set at liberty those who are oppressed

*To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.””

(See Luke 4:18-19 NKJV‬‬

Above are the works that Jesus did, and so we MUST REMEMBER that He also said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.” (John 14:12-14 NKJV‬‬)

They who BELIEVE in Jesus will do the works of Jesus… Our FAITH is our believing.

We CAN have peace in the midst of chaos because Jesus left us with His Peace. Look at what He told us in this last scripture I’ll share, so be encouraged!

“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]” (John 16:33 AMPC‬‬)
